1818-38   On the pattern of one child every two years, there are several children missing from this record, who may have died in infancy. Some possibles from the IGI, with no supporting evidence than that their parents were 'Robert and Ann Ward of Leicester' are:- Elizabeth Ward (1821-1829); John Ward (1829-1837); and Richard Ward (?1833-1833).   Speculation

31 Mar 1874   Robert Ward died aged 84 of 'natural decay' at 4 Court x, Northgate Street. (His occupation of 'butcher' is assumed to be a mis-transcription.)   Death certificate
