27 Oct 1782   Ann Weston was born in Broughton Astley, Leicestershire, the seventh known child of Thomas Weston (42) and Mary Weston, formerly Mary Messenger (about 40). Of the previous six children, name repetitions indicate that probably three had died and three were surviving. Gravestones at Broughton Astley confirm that Thomas (1776), Ann (1780) and Richard (1783) all died in infancy.   Parish register - St Mary's, Broughton Astley
