14 Sep 1788   It is likely that, in spite of her death certificate, which records an age of 100 at death, requiring a birth in 1783, Ann Woodward was actually born in 1788. The register of the Lutterworth Independent Church contains the following Woodwards in the period ~
//Ann Woodward Daughter [of] _____and _____ his wife of Lutterworth in the county of Leicester was born on the 14th day of September 1788 and baptised on the 15th day of February 1789.
//Ruth Woodward Daughter of William Woodward and Frances his wife of Lutterworth b. 17 Feb 1790 and baptised 8 Feb 1791.
//Isaac Woodward Son of Samuel Woodward and Hephzibah his wife of Lutterworth b. 6 Nov 1790 and baptised 9 Feb 1791.
~ In the absence of any other evidence, William and Frances have been selected as Ann's parents because her third and fourth children were named Fanny and William.
